* use this deprecated method only as a deadlock quick fix solution;
* todo: if repository not found, but vcs vf root exists, add log.warn
and start backgroundable repository creation process instead of using
EDT; if mappings were changed and EDT started repository constructions
-> we should manage this properly.
Nullize fields before calling super.tearDown(), because the latter
analyzes the test for leaks.
clearFields intentionally doesn't affect the PlatformTestCase,
so the project will be correctly disposed in super.tearDown().
dumpTogToStdOut should be called before clearFields, otherwise
the myTestStartedIndicator gets null, and no output is dumped.
In this case we won't get this dump if super.tearDown() fails,
but it is not a big problem, since the whole DEBUG log is available
anyway.
This reverts commit 8e812ac6c6.
It is better to call clearFields instead of nullizing some fields
in different places. But clearFields just has to be called
in the right place, which will be done in the next commit.
This fix affects actions without default text/description
set in a plugin.xml or ActionsBundle.
Text/description might be initialised in AnAction constructor,
and thus be empty in StubAction.
Some ActionGroup might contain stub action, even if it was already loaded.
While collecting actions for "Other" group we will load non-stub version
of an action, and it will pass the filter.
Thus, prior to this fix, AnAction might change its place in a tree
depending on whether text filter was used or not.
And, in some cases, depending on the filter itself - as it could've match
internal action id.
* do not call getRepository with possibly repository construction
in update() methods for actions;
* Vcs repository creator call vfs refresh, which will be performed
synchronously and will be stopped after semaphore.up method
will be called (from EDT!), thus if EDT is waiting for finishing
any process then this semaphore can't be released -> dead lock occured;
Actually it's better not to call
VcsRepositoryManager.checkAndUpdateRepositoriesCollection in EDT if
modify.lock was taken by someone else.
